Getting started
What exactly am I buying?
A membership. It covers your lab panels, the AZZA app, marketplace access, and coordination of your physician reviews with the independent physician network. Treatments are separate — each protocol is its own monthly subscription, and only a physician can prescribe one.
Do I have to get bloodwork?
Yes. Every protocol requires a baseline panel, because a physician cannot responsibly dose you without your numbers. Your first panel is included in membership.
How long until I have a protocol?
Your kit ships within a few days of signup. Once your sample reaches the lab, results typically come back in days, and your physician review follows. Most members are starting a protocol within two to three weeks of joining.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. AZZA Medical is for adults 21 and over.
Cost and billing
What does it cost?
Essentials is $89 a month, Optimizer $129, and Elite $229. Every protocol is available on every plan; a higher tier buys more testing and more depth of service. Treatments are billed separately.
Can I add extra panels?
Order one whenever you need it. A standard panel is $229 and an advanced panel is $429, on any tier.
Is it HSA or FSA eligible?
Your blood panels and physician reviews may be. The membership fee, app access and medications generally are not, and medication eligibility depends on your individual diagnosis. Check with your plan administrator.
Do you take insurance?
No. AZZA is cash-pay. We do not bill insurance or Medicare, and we are not an in-network provider. You may be able to use HSA or FSA funds for eligible items.
How do I cancel?
In the app, or by email, anytime. Cancellation is effective through the moment of the next charge. Before the renewal that starts each new 90-day cycle we send a reminder at least 14 days ahead.
Care and prescribing
Who actually prescribes my treatment?
An independently licensed physician. AZZA Medical is not a medical provider and does not practise medicine — we operate the platform and coordinate the logistics. The physician who reviews your labs makes every clinical decision, including whether to prescribe at all.
What if a physician says no?
That happens, and it is the system working. A physician may determine that a treatment is not appropriate for you. Membership does not include or guarantee any treatment. You keep your panel, your results and your review either way.
Are these medications FDA-approved?
Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by FDA for safety or effectiveness. They are prepared for an individual patient by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy on a physician’s prescription. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.
How is this different from buying peptides online?
Almost entirely. Vials sold online as “research use only” are sold for a lab bench, not for a person — no prescription, no labs, no physician, no accountability for what is in the vial. Here a physician reviews your panel, writes a prescription, and a licensed pharmacy fills it.
Can I keep my own doctor?
Yes, and you should. AZZA is not a replacement for primary care. Share your panel with your own physician — it is your record, and we make it easy to export.
Availability and privacy
Where is AZZA available?
Care is delivered through the partner physician network, licensed in 44 states and Washington, D.C.. Availability depends on the state you are located in and may change. We check your state at signup before you are charged.
Are you actually based in Miami?
Yes. AZZA Medical is a Miami, Florida company. We are a telehealth platform rather than a walk-in clinic, so there is no front desk to visit — your kit and your protocol come to you.
Do you offer service in Spanish?
This entire site is published in English and Spanish, and Miami is a bilingual city — we built it that way from the first page rather than bolting on a translation.
What happens to my health data?
It is protected health information and it stays with your care. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-restricted, and we do not sell it or push it to advertising platforms. The HIPAA Notice sets out your rights over it.
Does the AI see my medical data?
The intelligence engine organises your biomarkers so a physician can review them together. Ana, the in-app concierge, handles account, shipping and schedule questions and provides general educational information. It does not diagnose, prescribe or change treatment — it connects you to your physician, who does.
